Jeffrey's Story
Life
I am a 1st grade teacher and flag football coach. I like to jam with friends (as a drummer or guitarist) and will occasionally join a band. I love my job, my dogs, my girlfriend and my home! I don't think many people would remember me, I didn't spend too much time in one place and flew under the radar wherever I attended school.
I always wanted to be a superhero when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I like to go to the dog beach with the girls, work out at the gym, play guitar and drums, watch the Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks, ride my motorcycle, cook, go to concerts (I live right by the Riv and the Aragon)
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my coffee mug, my phone, and a smile to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I have lived most of my life in Chicago (my hometown), with brief stints...Expand for more
in Modesto, Ca., Davie, Fl., Wheeling, Mt Prospect, and Palatine, IL, Las Vegas, NV., and Berlin, Brandenburg, DE.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is My father, because he passed away in 2000 and left a lot of things unresolved.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel our storage room and soundproof the walls so I can practice my drums at home . My dream home would be big enough for all of my stuff, yet small enough to not be noticed.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a good portion of it to government (not by choice), then spend the rest on my mortgage, my family and friends.
My current age is 35. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be taller. I was so completely right.
My first job was at McDonald's in Davie, FL, where I got paid 3.25 an HR to jockey the cash register. What I remember most about it is how much it sucked.
