Life
Hi All!
I have been very busy since HS graduation. After school I went to Boise State University where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in education. I have been teaching elementary school for the last 10 years. I have also been married to my husband, Shaun, for 14 years and have 2 kids. My daughter, Karsyn, is 7 and in 1st grade. My son, Cooper, is 5 and in Kindergarten. We live in Nampa and I teach at a local arts charter school.
I went back to school and earned my master's degree. It is in Educational Technology. With this degree I have been able to continue teaching and make more money as well as teach college classes at Boise State University. I absolutely love teaching teachers. I may begin working on my PHD in the fall of 2007 when my program of interest is available through BSU.
I don't visit Lewiston very often even though my parents still live there. Every now and then I hear from some of my old friends like Diane, Monique, and Sue Lynn. They are all in different parts of the country and it is hard to keep track of where ever...Expand for more
yone is. I would love to hear from some of the people I worked with at Pat's Drive Inn and see what everyone has been up to.
School
What can I say about High School....well, not much! I would say that the 3 years I spent at LHS were probably the hardest years of my life. I think that when I moved to Boise and began college I felt refreshed and new! I made great friends who were accepting and kind. Everyone says that high school is the best years of your life, but I would have to disagree. While I had some great times in HS, I truly enjoyed college much more and I enjoy my life as a wife and a mom even more so.
College
Living in Towers at BSU was the most fun I had in my school career. I lived on a co-ed floor with 2 girls from Nevada and one from South Dakota. While we were all different we became fast friends and learned to Bong a beer in nothing flat. I'll never forget Monday nights at Papa Joes 2 for 1 pitchers of beer, Partying at Arrowrock, or the insane things we did in Towers. They were truly some of the most fun memories I had in college.
