Jen's Story
Life
My folks still live in the house I grew up in in Florham Park so I go by HP periodically. It seems so long ago-oh yeah, it was!
Anyway, in brief, I graduated from U of Delaware with a degree in Human Services. I then spent a few years working in northern De with sexually abused children. From there I joined the Peace Corps and lived overseas for a few years on a small island out in the Pacific called Pohnpei. It was on the island that I met my husband that I've been married to for almost 11 years. We have 2 girls and a boy. Our son is adopted and is from the Philippines (my husband lived there years ago). back for a doctorate in Education in the fall of 05 (this is when my youngest will be in school full time). I work part time at a local community college teaching and coordinating the community service learning program.
In regards to interests I like to run (although I am not hard corps-no marathons for this woman) and travel. This summer we are headed to Nicaragua and Costa Rica so if anyone has any advice on places to go in either of those countries let me know!
We live in a small town in Western Ma called Shutesbury. We live at the end of a dirt road on a lake called Lake Wyola. There is not much racial diversity in our community but it is a liberal region which nurtures my soul!
