Jeneth's Story
Life
I am divorced with three children ages 27, 18 and 10. I know, they're spaced out in age. What can I say? I procrastinate! I lived in Denver from August of 2006 to May of 2008. Had to get out of there! Too cold, too much snow. I didn't like the people that much either. So, I moved back South and am now living in Houston, Texas. I have already bought my youngest daughter and I a new home near Pearland, Texas and we love it. I've been a Legal Assistant for the past 18 years, with 17 of those years being at the same firm. Decided it was time for change. That's why I moved to Denver. We had to get rid of our dog, Benji. He needed more attention that we had time to give. We now have a cat named Edmund. bird and a cat in the house together alone. They did fine for a while though. I love my new job and my new boss. She's wonderful. Even though I don't have a paralegal degree, I still do paralegal work so it's very exciting. I am now into estate planning which is different from being in litigation work, but it's always interesting to learn new things about the law. I do miss the food in Memphis. And, my childhood friends I left behind so long ago. I still think of all of you and hope that you do me as well. My family is still in Memphis / Covington area. They'll never leave, except for maybe my oldest brother, Joel. He hates Memphis, but moved back a few years ago. Thanks for stopping by.
