Jennifer's Story
Life
After graduating from THS we moved to North Atlanta. I attended DeKalb College where I received an Associates degree in Medical Office Assisting. I got a job as a nurse and office manager at Allerty & Asthma Consultants in Atlanta. I worked there part-time for 30 years. In 1974 I married Wayne Harrison of Tallahassee, Florida. He was a student at Georgia Tech when we married an he graduated in 1976 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. We have two children. Nathan is 29 and married to Ellen. They live in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is a graduate of Oglethorpe University for undergraduate, Auburn University for graduate school, and presently attending the University of Arkansas Law School in Little Rock. nddaugher, Elizabeth Jane. Our daughter Julie is a graduate of the University of Georgia. She is maried to Will Colclasure of Orlando, Florida. Julie is the Human Resources Manager of a law firm in Orlando.
In 2001 I went back to school at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and received a B.A. in 2006 in Christian Ministry and Women's Ministy. I worked for Wellspring Living for a while before accepting a position at my home church First Baptist Duluth, Georgia. I am director of Women's Ministry, the Human Resources and Office Manger, and also assist the Senior Pastor and Minister of Administration. I love my job and I am right where I want to be.
New grandson, Rhett William Harrison was born March 23, 2009. He is precious!
Wayne and I reside in Suwanee, Georgia.
