Life
Hey all. I moved to Raleigh, NC area in 1993 and work as a Program Director for IBM in their quality assurance and customer support areas for Rational software. This allows me to travel a bit and I enjoy the diversity of people and technology. Lately I have been to India, Japan, Scotland and China. My husband also works for IBM but started his career in aerospace engineering. We have three sons, Christopher (17), John Ethan (6), and Jason Tyler (4). In December of 2010, we added a little girl to the mix. Juliet Rachael is now helping to balance out the power in the house. We live on a 22 acre horse farm in New Hill, NC where our animals are nice enough to allow us to co-exist. the folks into taking the kids and hock a few key items. Most times we stick close to home or travel with them to visit family or on smaller trips to the beach or the mountains. I also dabble in some photography of old tobacco barns but will not be quitting my day job anytime soon since I lack any real talent.
My parents moved down here in 1998 and my sister, Jean, is living in Seattle, Washington with her husband and their daughter. We visit each other a few times a year and burn up the phone lines the rest of the time. She gets here to Raleigh more than we get there since Mom and Dad are here now. I don't make it back to NY very often but have seen quite a few of you here over the years and hope anyone else that visits Raleigh will look us up. I do miss the seasons, the leaves, the Hudson River valley and many of my best memories are from NY.
