Jennifer's Story
Life
I have lived in Houston, Texas for
the past 24 years. I've been married for 18 years, and have 3
boys, ranging from 10-15 years old.
I am a Registered Nurse and have worked in all areas of nursing. I am presently a school nurse at a
high school and plan to do this until I retire.
I miss New England, especially the
season changes. The summers here
are difficult.
Working in a high school has made me a little nostalgic, though times have changed greatly.
College
I attended St. Joseph's College,
in N. Windham Maine right...Expand for more
after high school. I graduated in 1979,
with a BSN in Nursing.
I enjoyed college life and met my husband my senior year.
Workplace
I have worked in Nursing since graduation from college. I have worked in Pediatrics, have lot of
psychiatric experience, and I worked as a prison nurse for 6 years. This all led up to my present job as a school nurse, where I use all of my valuable experience. I enjoy working with
the kids(high school age)and especially like the summers and holidays. It allows me to spend time with my own kids.
