Jennifer's Story
Life
Since 2004 I have been living my dream in Europe... First in Paris, and currently in Hamburg, Germany where I am married to a German man who I met while at language school in Paris. (my first husband and I headed down different paths back in 2000.)
My passion is traveling - which is duly shared by my beau, a commercial airline pilot. We scour Europe and far beyond in search of great adventures, new cuisine, and international shopping. Our adventures are chronicled online at whereisjennifer dot com. I have enjoyed living in Germany, but the cultural differences are striking, and there is nothing quite like a trip back to So Cal.
Here in Hamburg I am a grateful member of the American Women's Club - a lifesaver for expats. I wrote a short travel book in 2006 for the US soccer team called the "Hamburg Handbook", which the team & its friends/family used to navigate the city and understand differences in customs (yes, there are a lot of differences). The US team was based in Hamburg during the 2006 World Cup, which made for a great time here in Germany! I hope they return ag...Expand for more

Careerwise, I am also a US tax advisor and I have had my own tax practice for about 15 years. I run it from Germany (or anywhere I happen to be) with the great help of email, PDF, and electronic filing. I hope other CPAs get the idea that they can live anywhere they want (Bahamas anyone?) and still make a living.
We gave birth to our first child, a beautiful baby girl named Sophie Celine, in 2007. She is a dual-citizen and is growing up bi-lingual. Every day is a joy (a really hilarious or exasperating joy, at times!) with her.
My brother Andrew and his wife Gina (Sitnick) - both WCHS alums - have not one, not two, but FIVE BOYS. They hold down the fort back in Southern California.
My folks still live in the same house I was raised in, in Fullerton.
I hear periodically from a few Class-of-87 alums, including Kelli Huckaba, and recently Amy Hammond & Tim Wolf. And Candi Frembling is a corporate attorney living the good life in Texas !
Life is good, I am *incredibly* thankful, and wish I could have made it to the 2007 reunion. I guess there's always 2017...
