HI! I don't know where to start. I left MHS in junior year, to move to Topeka, Kansas. I totally hated the idea. I had to leave friends that I knew since I was 4 (Sarah Gates) and a lot more that I had known since jr high at Clifton. I went from wearing a green and white lettermans jacket, to NOT wearing it at Topeka High ( NOT good in a black and gold school) Jr year sucked. Senior year, I actually liked it. My grades went up, made honor roll, made a few good friends , blah blah blah. As soon as I graduated ,BACK to Monrovia where I went to Citrus College for a few years, never graduated.Bad, I know. I ended up working at the Ymca with kids for a few years. I wanted to be a teacher, kind of, but I just wasn't sure. I met my husband Scott, had my son Andy, lived in Monterey Park for a year(DANGEROUS), then did some serious thinking and decided to move to Topeka Kansas, where we still live. Oops, almost forgot. We got married 2 days before we moved out here, in my dads front yard on Poppy Ave. ( no, it wasn't cheesey)13 years later, Andy 14, Amanda 11 and the biggest surprise of a child, Kimberley(Kimmy- who will be 3 August 10th. I used to feel like by now, I should have had a career, new cars, expensive vacations, but I think that I finally realized that I'm right where I always wanted to be. I always want...Expand for more
