Jennifer Sernig:  

Life 15 years in a nutshell.... After I graduate from high school I went to university in a small town called Big Sandy in East Texas. I studied for 4 years, received a Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Business Administration and Minoring in Mass Communication. I returned to Wpg for 3 months before I got married to an Australian named Brad Sernig in Sept 95. Shortly thereafter, we moved to Brisbane Queensland Australia and have been here ever since. I started working initially as a Admin Officer for a University, but found work at Fujitsu as a Business Analyst for the next 6 years. In that time I had my first child, Jacob, in March 1999. In March 2002 while pregnant with my second child I was made redundant and suddenly found myself without a job for the first time since I was 16. I enjoyed being work free for the rest of the pregnancy and had Emma in July 2002. In March 2003 I returned to work as an Office Manager for a refrigeration company working parttime and living only 5 minutes from work. No more hour long journeys in peak hour traffic to work for me! I am currently a director for a sister company of the refrigeration company involved in manufacturing of double glazed windows and doors, primarily for the refrigeration industry.
