Jennifer's Story
Life...
Wow! Where to begin? I began college at SMSU in the fall of 89. I transferred to UMKC the following year and graduated in 1993 with my bachelors in Secondary Education-English. I married in my Junior year and we moved back to St L in 1993. Between 93 and 99 I had four beautiful children-Paul, Thomas, Katie, and Hope. I began teaching for the St. Louis Public schools in 1993 at Blow Middle School. I then taught at Cleveland NJROTC (and summer schools at Roosevelt, Gateway and Vashon) before leaving in 2001. I tried the stay at home mom thing for 1 1/2 years, not my thing. I divorced in 2002 and went back to the classroom that same year. s two sons, our three dogs and one cat. "Full House" has nothing on us! I have been teaching English (Sister Barbara cringed when she found that one out!) at Oakville Senior High School in the Mehlville School district for the last seven years. I have been teaching 15 years, total. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from SBU with my Masters Degree in Education in July of 2006. I enjoy having summers off and traveling. In the last 4 years we have gone to Vegas (3x a year - we love that place, just my hubby and I - not a place for kiddos, ya know), Colorado/Utah/Arizona/New Mexico, Texas, Florida (where we were married), Hawaii, LA, Cozumel and the Grand Canyon. Looking forward to Hawaii this summer (the first time the kids will get to go there!) Think of the traveling I can do when I retire in 2028!!
