Life In a nutshell, I was a hood and spent most of my time across the street from LSHS. Somehow I got into nursing school and that changed my life and goals in many ways but I contiued in the party scene until I was 30 and had two kids and one on the way. My husband Doug became a Christian while going to Cal Poly and I soon followed. I worked at Lompoc hospital for ten years and then at two hospitals in San Luis Obispo. I became a stay at home mom after my spiritual coversion and third child. I started a lic. day care from our home in Sunnyvale where my husband Doug got his first job as an engineer. I also homeschooled my two oldest ones (wonderful experience) We then moved to tucson az. where Doug works for Raytheon designing missile guidence systems.
