Jennifer's Story
Life
After doing an internship in my senior year at NBC- Channel 8, I stayed there for 6 more months and decided that broadcasting was not for me. After dropping out of college (several times) I finally moved to Florida's east coast where I met my husband and now have 3 beautiful girls. I am fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my children and put them through private school. We bought a home and not 7 months later, my husband gets a new job in ALbany, NY of all places. Six months later, we move back to the Florida Furnace. After being home for almost 10 years, I accepted a teaching position in a new private school opening in the fall of 2004. I will be teaching social sciences for the middle and high school levels.
So, its the end of 2006. My husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our 7th anniversary. I am very happy to say that I am very happily married. We had an addition to our family. Not another...Expand for more
daughter, but a puppy. We bought a 7 week old female Mastiff! What an awesome dog! She is 2 years old now and well over 100 pounds. She's wonderful.
After two years of teaching, I became overstressed and accepted a job with my husband's company. I get to work from home now as a technical writer. It's boring, but I can go to work in my pajamas if i want.
My oldest daughter has continued to excel in her education and has recently skipped a grade. She is still a straight A student and we are considering letting her homeschool so she can continue to push herself and graduate early. (Her idea at 10 years old, not ours).
I still live in the same house. I still go to the same church. Nothing much else has changed.
OH! I did finally buy my very first BRAND NEW SUV. I have always had to buy used, but now I have a brand new car.
