After graduating I worked, partied and had fun for a few years. I married and moved out of state - later having 2 daughters. I am very close with my family. Most of my family live near by. My sisters and I are/were best friends. My younger sister Patty and I are very close - and spend a lot of time together. We lost our older sister (Sherry) 2 years ago to a very rare form of cancer. Since then I been readng on classmates about the cancer problems with people that lived in the Simi Valley area in the 60's and 70's. She did live there - it makes me wonder - but know matter what the cause it doesn't bring her back. It's funny she was the sister that never drank, smoked or drugged and lived a very snow-white life. So you would think that nothing like that would ever happen to her. Everyone who knows us and some of the things I've done in my youth and not-so-youth would have expected me to be the unhealthy one. I guess it just goes to show you if you really want to do something - don't wait for tomorrow. This summer we will be moving to the Las Vegas area. My youngest and her family lives there. I looking forward to moving from the cold Reno area to the hot Las Vegas area. I love the sun and the heat. ...Expand for more
