Life
My Spouse
I met my husband at church. We were acquaintances throughout high school, became friends in college, then started dating after being friends for about a year.
My Pets
Max is a tall, skinny mixed breed we adopted from an animal shelter in December 2001. We think he's most like a rhodesian ridgeback. He is a great companion for running,walking and hiking.
Workplace
First career was teaching High Sch...Expand for more
ool math. Then volunteered to learn/teach computer programming. Got Masters in computer science, and tenure. Quit teaching and worked at Intel as a software engineer in computer telephony system test group for 3 years. Neck pain, isolation, constant fear of "redeployment" (a.k.a. layoff), personal crisis ... returned to teaching math at Morris Knolls and still there. Gained tenure again, and at peace with decision.
