Jennifer's Story

I guess the whole point of this web site is to be able to catch up with old friends and find out what they have been up to but if no one gives any information then it's not worth it. So I thought I would let you know what I have been up to since graduation. I worked at a few jobs (vet hospital, vending company and Pizza Hut) right out of high school then I got on with Home Depot. I still work for Home Depot after 15 years and I love what I do. I worked at the Oceanside store (off 78) for 3 years then transferd to Memphis Tn. to help open a new market. I worked in the Memphis area for 6 years then moved to Katy, Tx. I currently still live in Katy and absolutely love it here. My home will always be California but my heart is in Texas. I met my husband and the love of my life Adam in August 1992 during a Special Olympics camp held at Camp Pendelton. I know what your thinking..he was one of the athletes right? Well actually he was a liason between Special Olympics and the Base. We had a 1 1/2 year courtship and were married in February 1994. We had our first child Zachary in 1995. s going to be a "teenager" soon which is so wierd beacuse I don't feel much older than the day that I graduated. I must have grown up at some point to have a kid that old, right? Well 4 1/2 years later we had our little angel Kaitlyn in 2000. She is the apple of her daddy's eye and my mini me. She looks so much like I did when I was little it's scary. We don't plan on any more but we leave that in God's hands beacuse it is all up to Him anyway. My parents like so many others divorced not long after I graduated. My dad remarried the same year I did and my step mom and I were pregant together. Talk about wierd, I now have a little brother that is 11 weeks older than my son and 22 years younger than me. My mom is still single but happy. She moved with us to Memphis and then again to Texas. I finally convinced my dad and his family to move to Texas about 3 years ago and he loves it as much as I do. We are very happy and love life. God has been so good to us and we see the blessings in our life everyday when we look a our beautiful and healthy children and all the wonderful friends we have. May you be blessed and have all that God desires for your life.
