Jennifer's Story
I graduated from Portland State University in 1996. I married the man that I have been with for 22 years, one week after graduation. We have two children. Our boy is 19, and is in his third year at the University of Oregon, studying Business and Mandarin. My daughter is 16, and in her second year at Lane Community College. I chose to teach our kids at home, instead of pursuing another career. In doing so, it gave our children many resources and freedoms, that may not have occurred. y, great friends, reading my Bible at 4:30a.m. with the fire, blanket, and coffee, traveling, hiking, kayaking, playing in the surf, riding the rapids, backpacking into the wilderness,jumping in the lake at midnight, going on best-friend trips, spending time with the elderly, long road trips, learning how to work with wood, tennis, raquetball, European food, coffee Haagen-Daz ice cream, chocolate mouse, creme brulee, crepes, saving for the next trip to Europe with my daughter, when my son scratches my back and tells me he loves me each and every day, a man that says he loves me more now than ever before, and this is me in a nutshell! And, I am extremely blessed!
