Jennifer's Story
I've changed alot since High School. Still often feel like a big kid, but we just graduated our youngest, Christy from High School. She's 18, going to SFA next year in nursing; my son, Nathan is in Junior year at North Texas in Advertising. From my years at Barbe, I graduated with BS in Comp Sci- met my wonderful husband, Mark in Houston and we married in 1986--worked for Exxon for 7 years in the computing department, then stayed home with my beautiful children, worked part time at church nursery, then teaching preschool for...Expand for more
8 years; then got certified to teach 6th grade Math and taught for only 2 years (not my deal); then started with small consulting firm as admin assist and up to exec assist and basically now a partner, just not on paper. I enjoy my work but work a lot. I am blessed with a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children. I thank the Lord every day for all he does for me-- make plenty of mistakes over my life, and I don't deserve all the good that has been showered on me, but am thankful for His mercy and his plans for my life.
