Jennifer's Story
Life
We are now in Guam. My family and myself are loving life on the beach. We will be here for another 1 1/2 years then it will be time to transfer again. My Daughter is 7 and races 4 wheelers and is in Girl Scouts. My son is 4 and is starting soccer. We love to be together since it is hard for us to when my husband is gone as much as he is. But we make the most of our time together and love every minute of it.
Military
Well if you didnt know I had joined the Navy after the summer of graduation. I went to boot camp in Great Lakes, IL. That was cold. Then was stationed in Jacksonville, FL (1998-2001). Puerto Rico (Feb98-Aug98) while there I went to the Virgin Islands and Curosua. It was beautiful at all of those places. Came back to the states and went on deployment again a year later to Italy (Aug00-Feb01). While there I was able to go to Germany for 5 days and went to Gilbralter for 2 weeks. While in Gilbralter I went to Spain. Came back to the states and got out of the Navy. My husband is also in the Navy and we then moved to Guam (Dec02-Nov04). That was one of the best places we have ever been to. We went to Nebraska (Dec04-Feb07) at an Air Force Base. It is very different from what we are used to being in the Navy. We are now back on Guam (Feb07-Now). It is beautiful and we love it everyday.
