Jennifer's Story
Life
I'm far, far from the cold New York winters, and loving it; but missing the beautiful green New York summers! I'm in Utah now, living with my husband, four of my eight kids and pets (2 dogs, 2 cats, a snake, a tarantula, lots of fish). One married son, one married daughter, one daughter living with her boyfriend, and lost one son when he was 19. The other four are still at home, 3 boys and a girl. I finished my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and am about to get started on my Certified Nurse Midwife/Womens Health Nurse Practitioner, which will keep me intensely busy for the next 5 semesters, but will be well worth it in the end, I'm sure. my family, less on the road.
Among other things, I am heavily involved with Susan G. Komen, have walked 3-day walks for the past three years, and done safety crew for other walks the past two with my little sister, Janet. I'm a 3+ year survivor, and doing what I can to lessen this for other women.
Life is terrific! My husband is my best friend, my one and only. Utah is a great place to raise a family, and the mountains are awesome! Still, I miss living back east.
