Life
I work in the local USDA office with commodities loans. Despite my teen-age plans, I find myself surrounded by agriculture, farmers and ranchers, and I love it! I've even learned to drive a tractor and a skid-loader. However, I'm still blonde and girly, which gets me some teasing around the office and at home. It still takes a full hour, at least, to get me out of the house.
I married a wonderful man in 2004 (he is a farm manager for UW Agriculture Research and has his masters degree from UW in agronomy). We live about an hour north of Cheyenne on our farm. very happy about it. We're UW football season ticketholders, and celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in Hawaii.
We have a baby boy, Bo, born in August, 2007, a natural-born farmer and future football star. I have two children from a previous marriage, boys named Jesse and James. Jesse plans to go to college and study architecture, and James plans to go to law school. I still ride horses, and we raise lambs and poultry for my sons' 4-H and FFA projects.
I'm lucky to keep in touch with my two best friends from high school, Christina Hogg and Missi Tuma, the most important links to high school for me. Remember, you two, "nice shoes" are very important in a man. My husband has very nice shoes, they say "Wrangler" on them. Love you guys!
