Jennifer Polich:  

I married Butch Hall in 1963 and we had one son, John.We were working hippies: embraced the culture and philosophy but didn't opt out. We divorced in 1971 and I began to experience the life of a single Mom. As all single Moms know, it's a tough existence but a rewarding one. I started working for the State of California (State Board of Equalization) in 1971, moved around quite alot in order to promote and and retired from my dream job in 2002. During that time, I married again in 1985 which was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I re-married in 1992 to a wonderful man, who died in 1999 from MS. Life has been very good to me. My family is/was one of the great treasures of my life. Sadly, both my Mom and Dad have passed on but I still feel them with me. I have had 3 best friends for over 50 years and a small group of very good friends. We've had good times, bad times and basically been there for each other. I've lived on the North Shore of Maui since 2002.
