Jennifer's Story
Life
After Heald Business College I worked for a short time for the Human Relations Commission in Sacramento, then hired on with the FBI in the Sacramento office. I was there for two years before transferring to the Springfield, IL, office where I worked for almost three years. Meantime I met my husband. After we were married I went back to business school and became a court reporter and worked as a freelance reporter for a little while. recently administrative secretary at the church we attend. I've been "at home" since March of 2000. I volunteer in various ways at the church at that keeps me busy. I am also a volunteer counselor at Crisis Pregnancy Center in Springfield.
My husband, Jim, retired from IBM in 1997 but hired back with them as a supplemental employee doing the same thing he did for 31 years, installing and servicing computers for IBM clients. He retired from that at the end of May, 2004. He now drives for a shuttle service from Springfield to the St. Louis and Chicago O'Hare Airports
