Jennifer's Story
Life
After graduating from Centennial in 1985, I attended the University of Illinois and received a degree in Finance in 1989. I worked in the Audit Department of Arthur Andersen & Co.'s St. Louis, MO office from 1989 to 1991. I returned to Champaign in 1991, and worked in the Audit Department at McGladrey & Pullen until 1997. From 1997 to 1998, I worked in the University of Illinois' Office of Financial Affairs. return to public accounting. From 1999 to the present, I have worked for Ernst & Young in Palo Alto, CA. I am a Senior Manager in the Employee Benefit Plan Services Group.
I'm actively involved with horses in my spare time, and drove my two horses from Illinois to California when I made the move. I primarily ride dressage (one of the three Olympic equestrian sports), but haven't competed in any shows since arriving in CA. I hope to get back into competing one of these days/months/years!
Other activities that I enjoy include traveling (Hawaii is a favorite), skiing and SCUBA diving.
