Jennifer's Story
Life
After high school I went to NHTI in concord for two years and got my associates degree in Early Childhood.. I was engaged for two and a half years but we decided not to go through with it, and are still really good friends. I'm now working as a preschool teacher in Durham and living in an apartment in Gonic, enjoying the single life, and spoiling my neices and nephew!!
School
I doubt I would ever want to do high school over again!! Yeah I miss seeing my friends every day, but it's much better to be doing something I love and not struggling through a piece of S*** class that I could care two S***s about! I still keep in touch with a few people from high school, and appreciate their friendships the most... They know who ...Expand for more

Workplace
I absolutely LOVE my job. I'm obviously not making as much as some people but kids are my life. Not to say I'll have any... But being a preschool teacher is one of the most rewarding jobs!! I work full time, and have an awesome team teacher and GREAT director.. I wouldn't want it any other way... I still have to babysit for extra money to pay the bills but for now that's fine.. I'm thinking I might start taking night classes in the next year or two so I can get my bachelors in Early Childhood and possibly become a director within the organization! I love it most because there is so much room for growth. I started as a toddler teacher, and looped up to the preschool room, and this age is my favorite!!
