Life
After I graduated from MHS in January 1990, I attended UW Madison, Northwestern Prep School, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and finally ended up at Parks College of Saint Louis University. I majored in Aviation Science and planned to become a professional pilot. While I was at Parks, I met my husband, Chris, who was also a student there. as killed in Afghanistan in May 2007, when his helicopter was shot down. We lived in Alabama and Hawaii before moving to North Carolina since 1999. We have three beautiful daughters - Natalie (born in 98), Gina (born in 99) and Joanna (born in 04) and for now, being mom is a full-time job and then some - as a single mom homeschooling my two older girls. We love our community here in North Carolina, built a new home in '05, and plan to stay, at least for now.
