Jenny's Story
Since granduation I have gotten married and have 4 beautiful children. Gabrielle 21, Anna 19, Max 16 and TJ(Thomas James) 8.
I have had some awesome jobs, one of the best was a DJ for a local up and coming disco tech in Juneau, AK were I lived for 10 years. The other was working for the State of Alaska at the Juneau Convention and Visitors Bureau. I got to go on alot of tourist trips for "free" to sell them to the public when they called to inquire about Alaska. Example; helecopter ride to the glaciers, airplane ride to the fjords landing in the water then had a dinner cruise back to the harbor in Juneau.
In 1996 or so my family packed up and were missionaries in Honduras for two years. My husband was a missionary pilot, flying into the jungle delivering supplies to a hospital. Then when our oldest daughter turned 12 we came back to the states and have lived in Wenatchee, WA (near the folks) ever since. Gabi is a Math major and minors in German and knows Spanish. o on to college. This fall he is signed up for college classes. TJ?....he's just 8! he's great! anything army, games or sports he's on it. He might be my police officer like his Uncle Vic Lancaster!
I have been a stay at home mom and working here and there,but mostly trying to be home with my family. They are only small once. I am a lover of the Arts. I paint and draw. I have also been really into my "family tree" very interesting when you find out who you are related to for example: George Washington's sister is my Aunt! who'da thought? Sacajawea is my cousin! who'da thought? Cheif Washakie of the Eastern Shoshone nation is my Uncle! who'da thought? General Patton is my Uncle thru marriage who'da thought? it has been a very interesting couple of years-Very fun:)
My husband is a pilot and flies a 747. Our dream is to be in the mission field again one day....we shall see?
We currently bought a house in Florida near Disney World, YEAH! so excited!
Now that our girls are on their own I am realizing how fast time goes by. So please remember in my closing note:
NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN FAMILY AND FRIENDS, NOTHING!
