Jenny's Story
Life
I graduate in Fall of '04 from Loyola Univerity with a BS of Mass Communications. I'm now studying for the GMAT & looking at all of my options for my masters. I haven't decided what I'm going back for but hopefully I'll have that decision made by the end of 2008. I'm married to a Shaw Bird, Jared Norris & we have a little boy named Jaden who goes to school at Arden Cahill Academy. I just recently started swimming again with the Elmwood Fitness Center's Master Team which I'm so excited about. At the end of 2007 I also started running & training for races & I just recently ran the Crescent City Classic. I'm hoping to be ready to compete in a half-marathon by 2009, wish me luck!
My Pets
I have 3 dogs: Dobby (yorkie...Expand for more
shi tzu mix), Buddha (mini english bulldog) & Adonis (french bulldog).
My Job
I coached summer swimming, Newman Middle & High School & year round US Swimming at NU Wave Swim Club for about 5 years but I had to give that up because I didn't have enough time for my family & myself. Right out of college I worked at Citadel Broadcasting as Promotions Director of DIVA 92.3 for 3 years & left right after the storm since pay & management was absolutely horrible. I left for a Management position at Bebe Sport. I did that for about 6 months & then caught the break I was waiting for. I now work at The Times-Picayune as an Outside Sales Rep in the Real Estate Dept. The company is great & so are all of the people I work with!
