Jenny's Story
Feb 2020 - Surprise! We actually moved back to the desert! We now live in San Tan Valley, AZ, just SE of Phoenix. I still work for Lehigh Univ, just remotely now. The desert air is much better for David and the family support is very much needed for Brian, who we found is on the Autism spectrum. Let's just say it makes life interesting. Being home again after 30 years is a bit surreal, but I'm getting used to being around all my siblings again. Let's hope they can say the same. :)
Sept 2015 ... We now live in the Lehigh Valley of PA where I work at Lehigh University. I did graduate from Hollins back in 2010 with a major in classical studies (i.e., dead language...Expand for more
s). I must be slightly insane since I still love the subject and am now doing a self-study project learning ancient Akkadian and Cuneiform. :)
My husband, David, is struggling with something similar to severe rheumatoid arthritis which has now put him on the permanent disabled list. Brian is 12 now, going on 30 ... I really hate the teen years and his are just getting started! :P
We are planning a trip back to AZ in December to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. The entire family is getting together to spend a week in a cabin! For those that remember, our original brood of 8 has now burgeoned to a chaotic 30+ people! Jody even has 2 grand-kids of her own!
