Life After High School, I went to PSU for 3 yrs in Engineering Major, then dropped out because of burn-out and lack of funding (loans ran out). After that, I moved in with the folks who had moved to Houston,Texas (Dad got a good job with Coca-Cola Foods). Stayed there for a bit, trying to figure out what to do with my life. Joined the Air Force in Dec '93. I figured 4 yrs in, then get out. I was a Munitions Systems Specialist, which means in laymen terms, I built, fixed, tweaked, and handled bombs and missiles of all kinds...including Nukes. Well, to my surprise I found I really enjoyed my work and was VERY good at it. I decided to stay in past my 4 yrs and rose through the enlisted ranks quickly (E-5, Staff Sergeant). I got to be very knowledgable about the various guided missile and bomb systems, and was involved in a few of the newer guided systems being developed.
