Jeremy's Story
Life
Dropped out of college to work in the film industry. After living and working as a motion picture electrician in NYC for four years, I met the girl of my dreams, decided to throw caution to the wind, and moved to California in '98. I currently work as a motion picture studio grip on various TV shows and movies (at this very moment, happen to be working as a rigging grip on "24").
As far as accomplishing more than I thought I would, I never thought I'd pass 25, let alone make it to 30. I don't know if anybody else has continued to pursue "the dream," but after years and years of struggling in this crazy business, I'm still chasing it. Of course, it would be easier to find if I knew what "it" was, but I'm having a blast.
School

ely) assigned to me. I was just a little strange. I am still just a little strange. Oh, dear God, I'm 30.
College
I went to Penn State for two years, then dropped out, since there is no better school for the practice of working in motion pictures than going out and working on motion pictures. To date, nobody has asked to see my degree.
Workplace
Worked as a Motion Picture electrician from 1994-1998 in NYC, moved to Los Angeles where I began working as a motion picture grip. Throughout both locations, I have taken time to cultivate skills as a gaffer on low-budget features. If you've checked out my bio on imdb.com, there's a bunch of little movies I've gaffed in there, so when you're watching (if you can sit through them), I'm the one who made a lot of lighting calls.
That's the nature of this business: one week you're working for cash, the next you're working for peanuts doing something that is artistically satisfying.
