Jeremy's Story
Life
I think I have spent my life being a face in the crowd. My world revolves around my family. I have been happily married to my wife Dawn for eight years. We have one son, Nathaniel who is 3 and one daughter, Bronwynn, who is seven months old. They make my whole day. After seven and a half years in the Army I have come back to my other love, teaching. I teach US History at a school in Las Vegas. I never thought I would end up here. After going off to see the world I'm glad to be teaching again. Still I think of Corona and Centennial High and Cal State.
College
College was my favorite time. I still remember the late nights as a staff writer for the C...Expand for more
hronicle at Cal State San Bernardino. Then there were the late nights as a DJ at Coyote Radio. Then the friends and colleagues I met as History Major and all those gab fests at the Pub and seeing history in action.
Workplace
After seven years in the Army I'm a special education teacher in Las Vegas.
Military
I joined the Army in September 1997 after finishing my teaching credential program. I wanted to see the world and understand more than my life in California. So they shipped me off and I've been stationed at Fort Lewis and Fort Riley in seven years with side trips to Honduras, El Salvador, Kuwait and Iraq. Now I'm out and back into teaching school.
