Jeremy's Story

I'm currently the Marketing & Comm Manager for a manufacturer of high-speed bottling and canning equipment. If you had a Coke or a Pepsi, there's pretty good chance it was bottled or canned on one of our machines. I also spent some time serving as a City Councilman in Richmond Heights (October 2014 - Dec 2019). During that time, I had occasion to make the acquaintance of the Developer who is in the process of purchasing the former Richmond Mall with the intention of tearing it down to construct a new, quarter billion dollar luxury mixed-use development similar to Crocker Park or Pinecrest. And so, I am also working part time, consulting as the Communications Manager of the new development, known as Belle Oaks Marketplace (belleoaksmarketplace-dot-com) Prior to that my current position, I have held positions as the Vice President of an alarm company, Operations Manager of a Household Chemicals manufacturer, Webmaster of one of the World's 100 largest websites (in its day) and finally, as a solo practitioner of my own marketing/advertising/web designing firm that I still operate in my spare minutes. I have a beautiful wife that I have no idea what she is doing with me, other than I keep her laughing and two children that keep us crying. That is to say that I have a 25 year old son and a 30 year old daughter who is attractive and hardheaded like her mother and a smartass like me... 'nuff said. In my spare time (which I have none) my lovely wife and I like to take daytrips to Amish Country, go out with friends and entertain -- which we did a as ...Expand for more
much as we could outdoors or, in our heated garage, over the past two Covid altered years. For those of you who may remember me from highschool, I have amazingly been sober (except for the occasional adult beverage) for the past 30 years and my wife has never so much as touched a cigarette. I think it is completley amazing that we ended up together since I was still a stoner when I met her. I was actually introduced to my wife by her mother who hired me to work with her daughter because I was in the correct age bracket and of the appropriate religion (but that's another story). I served 4-years in the Navy, narrowly avoiding a college scholarship that would have made me an officer (can you even imagine?) and have traveled to other countries several times in the Navy and for both business and pleasure since then. My forte is computer graphics and technology and I'm mostly self-taught in those areas. My work has been published as positive examples of the various programs that I use and, of course, my current position requires that I generate ads that appear in National publications on a regular basis. As for me personally, I think my best quality is still my sense of humor and I generally feel comfortable fitting in with most any conversation and any crowd. This is definitely a plus when working conventions and tradeshows. I'd love to hear from some of you who remember me from school. I pretty much lost touch with everyone when I went out West during the 80's and my time in the service. Drop me a line and let me know what you've been up to!
