I have two grown adult kids. And i am both a proud Nana to wonderful grandgirls and Mama to furrbaby Molly Lollipoppy. My son and i have always been close altho we dont get to see each other much these days. Wish i could say the same about my oldest but she avoids people that cannot fulfill her desires wants abd needs. In other words if i was materialistically and financially rich things would be different. Sge and ibare like night andvday. She has often seemed like she was a miniture replica of my older sister. Sadly Narcissistic in my immediate family and her biological dads. My mother and sister thrived as such. Sadly both have passed , my mom at 82 jan 2018 and my sister at age 63 This january 2019. In the last years my sister turned on my mom so they were estranged which really upset me because they were always close but my mom closed the cookie jar after having it open to my sister all her adult years so things got ugly. Alcoholism in my family big time along with drugs. And both mom and sister were bipolar etc and my daughter is too. My son and i both have ADHD probably cuz we were both 3 pound premees. Both my kids were born medically fragile and they had many challenges medically and mentally thruout thier childhood. My greatest accomplishment was that i raised them on my own with no family or any help. I broke the cycle of physical and emotional abuse in my family along with alcoholism and other addictions. I was told over and over that neither one of my kudsvwould ever be normal or productive adukts and that they both would have to be in grouo himes etc. However i wasvbound and determine for that not to be so and i worked hard with both kuds. Everyday from infancy we had school and i researched all about their issues so i also did ohysical and occupational therapys. I also had music and art time with them everyday. Plus i was a nurse and child osychologist etc. It was hard work. Wore me out but it was worth it. They both are productive adults. My son still battles with moderate case of C.P. from significant brain damage as he had brain bleedsvand water on his brain as a premee. He walks with a scissir gait and has lazy eyes and unfortunatly people can ve so thoughtless cold and cruel. In childhood he was made fun of. He has had a hard life but he has the most loving heart. I had big ideas goals & dreams career wise however all my kids doctors and specia...Expand for more
