Jeri's Story
Life
I left Columbus in 1987 and lived in Atlanta for 10 years before moving to Asheville, NC, in 1997. In the meantime, I got married and divorced twice and had 3 kids (the youngest was born July 15, 1990--the morning after the Class of 80 reunion!). In 1994 I met Lisa, my soulmate, and we have been very happily together ever since.
I love to travel and particularly love the Caribbean coast of Central America. I've been to Germany, France, Mexico, Honduras, Belize, Cayman Islands, and the Bahamas, and my next trip will be to Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Turks & Caicos. My dream trip is a cruise to the Greek islands, and I hope to be able to do that in a couple of years. I also want to visit Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Panama, and I'd love to do a cruise around South America.

to home, I love to camp, and I'm lucky enough to live in an area that has some gorgeous places to go camping. If you haven't been to Western NC, you really should come visit. It's incredibly beautiful here, and there's such an eclectic mix of people. It's really a special place.
As I'm updating this, it's October 20, so I'm in the process of getting ready for one of my other favorite things--Halloween! We have a big Halloween party every year, and we decorate like crazy. We have monsters and graveyards and special lighting and fog. It's so much fun, and the trick-or-treaters love it. We've been doing this for 8 years now and add new things every year. And we enjoy every minute of it!
I rarely ever (ok, never) go to Columbus, but if anyone plans to visit the Asheville area, drop me a line!
