Jerri's Story

Life Michael and I are still going strong . . . We will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in May. We are living in LaBelle, which is a small town east of Fort Myers. We built our dream house and have been living in it for almost two years. We are out in the country and love riding 4-wheelers, having friends over for bon-fires. We have kept in touch and spent time with special friends like Sue Kilpatrick (Harker) and Carolyn Rudd (Bursy) and of course - Eddie Adams. Our oldest son, Michael is 19 and is currently a freshman at the University of South Florida. He says he is living the good life - I don't really want to ask what that means. Our daughter Brooke is 15 and will be driving soon. If any of you remember the way her dad used to drive - well she is the same. It's terrifying! 13. He is in 7th grade and stays busy playing football and playing video games. Michael is still working for Sprint and I work for a small law firm. We both love our jobs mostly because they are flexible so we can do all the things we want to with the kids. We spend a lot of time with my sister Nancy who Married Richard Gruber (also a Twin Lake alumni - but he is waaayy older than us). We live for our family vacations and now it's nice to just hang around the house when our oldest comes home (I still cry every time). Anyway - that is the update on the Awbrey's. Probably boring to most people but we are happy. I would love to hear from any old friends who would like to say Hi. I miss all my great friends from Tamarac. We had such amazing adventures growing up. Then my friends from Twin Lakes - hard to believe I was only there one year. I miss you all and have such great memories. Jerri
