Jerri's Story
Life
I've been married since 1985 to Don Wood of Seattle. We have 3 kids, Brianne('86),Christopher ('88) and Justin ('91). I retired from Qwest Communications in 2003. Volunteer is now my occupation, spending time with the labor community, Valley Medical Center's Center for Occupational Health and Education, The Lance Armstrong Foundation,T.H.E. Brain Trust, Puget Sound Labor Agency among others. I still lobby in Olympia and D.C. on behalf of these organizations and others, as a citizen lobbyist, not all lobbyists have deep pockets, just big vocabularies! Have traveled thru out the country for work, and took each child during their spring break of 4th gra...Expand for more
de to DC for a one on one tour of the capitol. Great time. I was able to continue that tradition with my brother, Kevin's son, Kyle in March of 2006 and it was still an awesome time.His sister, Sarah, gets t go with me in the spring of '10. Still live between Renton and Issaquah. My brothers, Larry ('78) and Kevin (Liberty '83) both have children. Larry on Whidbey Island with his son Tyler ('91)and Kev in Ninilchik, Alaska as a hunting/fishing guide and his two kids, Kyle (94) and Sarah ('99). My Mom still lives on May Creek. Would love to hear from fellow Issaquah grads. We had some great times and made some great friends that surpass the test of time.
