Jerris is from Holcomb, Missouri. She is married to Terry Evans. Her schools include Holcomb High School. She later attended Arkansas State University (English Education, Social Science). She has worked at Poplar Bluff High School for the last 19 years as an English teacher.She has also worked in the past at Ely Walker Shirt Factory, Kennett, Mo, Walsh's Big Star, Kennett, Mo.
