Jerry's Story
I'm a retired high school shop teacher. I guess Benson left an impression, or karma maybe, payback for all the trouble I was in school.
I live in a senior community called Sun Lakes Country Club, about 25 miles west of Palm Springs. It has tennis, golf, pools, clubs etc. You know you are old when one of your ex-students moves in here. My interests are wide but mostly tennis, photography, reading, bike riding, walking, stock market, RVing and Mac computers (we have 4).
Happily married for 44 years, two kids. I just turned 75 and still in pretty good health. Still handsome.

live in So. Cal. I don't see many old friends, which I have missed. We do RV up the Oregon coast every 3 or 4 years (Mo's deep dish marion berry pie). Since my wife became a school nurse we were off in the summer and did quite a bit or traveling, mostly in the motorhome or cruising.
After I got out of the Army, I was a printer for many years at the LA Times before I graduated with a degree in Voc Ed and started teaching.
I like it here. We can hit Palm Springs in 25 minutes, the beach in 90 min., and Big Bear in 60 min. and the weather is great. Come on down, there's places for sale.
