I often wonder where the years have gone as our youth has slipped away and the autumn season of our lives have arrived. Blessed with 3 granddaughters who remind me of the joys of being carefree and living life each day to the fullest as each day is a new adventure to them as for us who have seen and done it all it's rather refreshing to see the spark in the eyes of children as make believe is their reality and our inspiration. After graduation back in 82 i spent my summer in Indiana as it was probably the best summer i ever had as i felt liberated turning 18 and on my own. Shortly afterwards i did my basic traning at Parris Island SC and in short gave 2 tours consisting of 3 years and 4 year enlistments to the Corps as i had traveled the world living and learning about life and consequences. After the Marines i worked various jobs in Alabama, South Carolina, Michigan and back to Bama.
