I am originally from Brooklyn New York, growing up in neighborhoods like, Red Hook, Sunset Park, Coney Island and Bay Ridge.
Bay Ridge was the last, Living all my teenaged years there, and probably living the best part of. making friends that I would remember the rest of my life but havent seen what seems a lifetime. When I was 17, I lived on the streets, Trying to survive, taking on jobs like, sweeping store fronts, passing out flyers, cleaning the bathrooms at a restaurant , where I later got a job busting tables, and eventually, becoming a waiter...I even joined the New York City Guardian Angels....While on the streets, I hung out in places like the...Expand for more
arcade, Grand Central Station, and a Tattoo studio in a loft in the East Village(shops werent allowed in New York at the time) where I met Mike Bakaty, the owner of Fine Line Tattoo, who gave me the inspiration to do what I do now, he said some words to me that I will never forget and got me to realize theres more to life, theres so much to learn....So, I bought a 1971 Plymouth Fury 3, for like 300 bucks, I packed up what little I had and moved on....Stopping at cities between here and there, my 1 goal was to make it to Seattle, Washington to visit the grave of my childhood hero, Bruce Lee, and I did. After visiting 39 states and three countries, I felt my journey had to come to an end. Now I live in the Pittsburgh area, And now, This is my home, And I love it here, Pittsburgh is a one of kind town, The people here are amazing the history, the way of living, and all the little towns that make Pittsburgh such a great city, The food, the music, the arts, its all just.....Pittsburgh.!!!Go Steelers, Lets go Pens, Lets Go Bucks!!!... My wife Ruth, who I owe my life to, is the most, beautiful, loving, person I have ever met, She makes me who I am now, and who I will be in my future.
