Jerry's Story
Sherry, good to hear from you! My life has been pretty boring! I went to work at Standard Oil a few months after graduation where I served my apprenticeship as a pipefitter. i knew i didn't want to that all of my life do I quit there in 1964 and went into the insurance business. I spent the next 45 years in business for myself. when i retired from the indurance business in 2009, i was diagnosed with lung cancer (darned cigarettes) but I think I have it beat now! ng, my wife said it was like someone flipped a switch - i started reacting ver slowly to y=tings. I guess i now have a form of dementia. My neurologist has diagnosed me with Parkinson's disease & Alzheimer's. But, I think he's wrong about the Alzhemer's because I don't have any problems with memory - I just react very slowly when someone speaks to me. But I made an adjustment on a tranqulizer i was taking an i'm doing much better now!
