Life
When not in the field, I'm either playing with the grandchildren, editing my website, working on pending patent applications, writing the Great American Novel, or enjoying life with my wife of 39 years and our friends. Field work takes me all over Texas, studying termites, snakes, spiders, trees, and native Texas botanicals.
After four years in the USAF, three years at a New York engineering firm, and nine years as a systems analyst and marketing manager at Texas Instruments, I started my own company.
With a wonderful wife, the best friends in the world, two hard working sons who are workaholics like their dad, two grandkids to keep me straight, life is much better for me now than anybody really deserves.

Why am I on classmates.com? Because I think of my formative years at Noel High often--and I wonder what my old classmates are up to. I'm not a very important person, but some of my old classmates are VIPs of the highest calibre, and all of my old classmates are important to me. You are all critical links to my past, and whatever you have become is sort of like an invisible, and hitherto unknown, extension of my own life. We shared life together once, and when we separated and went our disparate ways we took something special with us that still links us together.
I feel a need to explore those links. It isn't a burning need, and by comparison with everything else, it doesn't rank in the top ten, but it is something I'd like to do when time permits. Some of you may feel the same way.
