Jerry's Story

After graduation I spent the summer in Sequim, and attended Peninsula College for a quarter, then came back to Seattle and worked in my relatives' beef cutting biz for a couple years, went to Boeing Plant 2 to saw stringers for 3 more, got laid off from Boeing in Auburn, and tested cable tv boxes for a General Instrument biz near the Moose Traps, Hub etc for a couple years, went back to Boeing Plant 2 to shape notches in stringers, took a trip to Britain and saw most of it on a Britrail pass, took a boat TO Ireland, then back to Boeing Developmental Center to trim composite parts for Stealth Bomber for a couple years, went to Kuaii for a couple weeks to hike and swim, went back to Boeing Aub...Expand for more
urn 17-45 bldg where I still work. Have travelled all over the West side of a line from Minneapolis to Tijuana in cars & RVs over last few summers. On the music questions, now that Hip Hop has discovered instruments besides drum machines & attitudes besides hostile, I like some of that, and the question should be Stones or Buffett and I'd choose Jimmy Buffett. On the late night host question it should be Jon Stewart or Conan, Letterman and Leno can go milk toast each other, & I'd watch Conan. The coffee is whichever whole bean is cheap, Folgers isn't coffee and Starbucks' $3 & a tip is extortion. On permission or forgiveness, if you don't get caught, you don't have to beg for forgiveness.
