Jerry's Story
Served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force as an integrated avionics technician during the Vietnam War. Repaired the aircraft electronic warfare equipment, navigational systems, and radio gear on the A-7 Corsair, F-4 Phantom & F-111 fighter jets. Was employed at the Control Data Corporation Microcircuits Operation as a process/maintenance technician for 2 years, then 3 years as a senior production planner, and 2 years as a buyer. neapolis, because we wanted our daughters to attend a better school system. So I accepted employment with Hutchinson Technology as a purchasing agent and retired from there as a procurement engineer/senior purchasing agent. My wife and I have lived in the Hutchinson, MN area for 35 years and have been married for 43 years. We have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters who live in St. Cloud, MN which is convenient for us to visit one another. Our oldest daughter is a sales manager for the St. Cloud Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the youngest daughter is a professional photographer & artistic stylist.
