Jerry's Story

Workplace For the last 9 years I have been working for a small training company in Orlando, FL taking life more easy. Not as stressed as I was in the Military. But I hope to move out of Florida in a few years and head to North GA, near the NC mountains where I own some land. I plan to build a cabin and find something to do up that way. Tired of city life, and travel, I want to spend some quiet years in the mountains. Military I went into the Air Force in 1976, after boot camp I went to Shu Lin Kou Air Station Republic of China, US Air Force Security Service. I worked in the communication center with security clearances. From there to MacDill Air Force Base, FL in Tampa, Readiness Command with several world wide deployments. ecome a Second Lt., from there off to Omaha Nebraska where I commanded Defense Weather Satellites. Gathering weather and other data for the Air Force. Then I went to San Miguel Naval Air Station, Phillippines, working with GPS-10 Space Tracking Radar. From there I went to Ramstein Air Base in Germany, where I worked doing something interesting that I can not share here. After that I went to Stuggart Germany, working at EUCOM, with NORAD, and other agencies as a key holder. Then I went to Patrick AFB FL, working with Delta Launches. From there I went back to Omaha Nebraska. Anyways 15 years served over seas, not spending much time in the states. Along the way I married a Chinese Girl, but also got divorced years later. Also earned Masters Degrees and several medals, awards along the way. Retired early with a 20 year retirement.
