In 1998 the EXCELLENCE in MEDIA ORGANIZATION in Hollywood awarded Jerry and his wife, Susanne McClain an ANGEL AWARD for their autobiographical book: HAPPY DAYS AND DARK NIGHTS. Also in 1998 the radio and tv commission honored the McClains as COVENANT AWARD finalists for their appearance on "PROMISES KEEPERS this WEEK." Jerry and Susanne also received the NATIONAL ASSOC. OF RADIO TALK SHOW HOSTS---"SPECIAL MENTION" for their RADIO TALK SHOW on the Salem Radio Network.
