Jerry's Story
Life
My Spouse
Wife #1
I dated Kelley through the majority of highschool. We had two daughters and were divorced after 5 years of marriage. We are still freinds and I raised my two older daughters with my new wife.
Wife #2
MIchelle dated my ex-roommate. She was so cute. So when they broke up I won her heart and we have been married ever since (21 years). She is awesome. My ex-roommate really lost out.
My Pets
My dog was Erin. She wasa certified arson dog and technically belonged to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. We work together every day. She was a black lab from New York City. (10 year UPDATE) Erin passed away in 2010. She retired in 2007 after working 800 fires. Very sad day. Sadie is my new dog. We have worked 300 fires together since 2007.
My Kids
Amanda Marie- 27 years old, has moved out after graduating, and now lives in Denver. Kind of a free spirit with an incredible sense of humor.
Cortney Kay- 23 years old, played soccer and sings like a bird. Cortney graduated from Canon City HS where she currently lives...Expand for more
. She has two sons (Benn and Mike) im a pa pa.
Whitney Morgan- 20 years old, plays/coaches fastpitch, excellent student (straight A's all through school including college, and has the prettiest red hair you have ever seen.
My Job
After 14 years as a fire fighter I was hired as an Agent with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI). I have worked there 11-years. I am assigned to Major Crimes Section in the Denver office. I specialize in arson investigation, and homicide throughout the state of Colorado. I am the K-9 handler for Sadie our arson detection black laborador. Sadie and I assist fire and law enforcement agencies investigate fire scenes.
We have had a great career at CBI. We worked Columbine and have investigated approximately 1200 fires. We have been recognized as Colorado State Fire Investigator of the Year, and last year I was recognized as Colorado Police Officer of the Year. It has been quite a ride.
I have 9 more years until I can retire, and then I will likely go into the Private Sector and make some real money.
