Jerry's Story
Life
I worked for a couple of years then moved to Texas, Lived in San Antonio in a victorian house that was nearly a hundred years old. Attended business school then moved back to Alaska. Worked at the Times until it was closed, went back to business school. Met my late partner Les Baird.
When he retired from the fire department, we sold or gave away most everything, had a custom camper built and started traveling in "95". We traveled from Alaska to Florida for three years. Spending...Expand for more
winters in the Arizona/ Nevada area. Mostly Tucson and Quartzsite.
In "98" we were in a motorcycle accident and Les was killed. I went back to Alaska with my sister to recuperate.
The following year, I moved to California, where I met my current partner, Bob Beck, I wound up managing his Ballet company for a couple of years, then we moved to Hawaii.
We currently live in Waikiki and own our own business, Rabbitt in Paradise. The business is built around our pet rabbit, Blackberry.
