Jerry's Story
Brief summary. Worked industry most of my life, Forestry, Mining, Power Generation and ended up in the Petroleum industry my last 32 working years. Did 2 years in the military and lived across Canada in 5 different provinces from Nova Scotia to BC. 2 marriages, 4 kids, 2 in BC with the eldest still single, 1 married with 2 kids, 1 in University & the youngest in college. years. Worked as a process operator in 4 different industries in Stewart & Vancouver BC and Wabamun & Fort McMurray AB. Worked my way up to 10 Plant Turnarounds as an Administrator. 4 different Project Leader positions, 6 years as an Operations Integrity Advisor, 9 years as a Process Safety Advisor and became the PS Advisor field Team Leader with 4 Reports. I was the company rep for an Oil Sands liaison position, plus many more highlights during my 32 years with the company I am now retired from.
